The Isle of Cats is een competitief, middelzwaar, kaartopstellend, polyomino-bordspel voor kattenplaatsing voor 1-4 spelers (6 met uitbreidingen).

Jullie zijn burgers van Squalls End op een reddingsmissie naar The Isle of Cats en moeten zoveel mogelijk katten redden voordat de kwaadaardige Lord Vesh arriveert. Elke kat wordt vertegenwoordigd door een unieke tegel en behoort tot een familie. Je moet een manier vinden om ze allemaal op je boot te laten passen en tegelijkertijd de families bij elkaar te houden.

Je zult ook hulpbronnen moeten beheren terwijl je het eiland verkent (door kaarten te trekken), katten redt, schatten vindt, vriendschap sluit met Oshax en eeuwenoude lessen bestudeert.
Elke les die je verzamelt, geeft je een andere persoonlijke manier om punten te scoren, en er zijn 38 unieke lessen beschikbaar.

Voltooi lessen, vul je boot en houd kattenfamilies bij elkaar om punten te scoren. De winnaar is de speler met de meeste punten na vijf ronden.

You are citizens of Squalls End on a rescue mission to The Isle of Cats and must rescue as many cats as possible before the evil Lord Vesh arrives. Each cat is represented by a unique tile and belongs to a family, you must find a way to make them all fit on your boat while keeping families together.

You will also need to manage resources as you explore the island (by drafting cards), rescue cats, find treasures, befriend Oshax and study ancient lessons.
Each lesson you collect will give you another personal way of scoring points, and there are 38 unique lessons available.

Complete lessons, fill your boat, and keep cat families together to score points, the winner will be the player with the most points after five rounds.
