Opmerking: Insert ontworpen voor de standaard Retail-spelversie met externe doosafmetingen van 30,0 x 30,0 x 5,5 cm, en voor de Deluxe-spelversie met afmetingen 30,0 x 30,0 x 7,5 cm. Insert compatibel met Brass: Birmingham® of Brass: Lancashire®, zowel Retail- als Deluxe-edities. Het ontwerp biedt zowel efficiënte opslag als verbeterde gameplay. Alle bakken kunnen tijdens het spel worden gebruikt en ze helpen enorm bij het opzetten en opruimen. De regels en borden fungeren als deksel bovenop de bakjes. Er is één lade voor de spelerreferentiekaarten en andere componenten met twee bouwvarianten, één voor elke versie van het spel. Meer hierover hieronder. Zoals hierboven vermeld, werkt de insert even goed met de Deluxe- en Retail-versies van beide games. Onderstaande afbeeldingen zijn van de Deluxe Brass: Birmingham. Hier zijn de spelcomponentenladen in twee lagen gerangschikt. Het inzetstuk biedt twee bakjes om de ijzeren kleidoos op zijn plaats te houden. Let op: de muntficheslade is hier omgekeerd, omdat deze niet nodig is. De vulbakken voor de ijzeren kleidoos zijn ontworpen om fabrieksgebouwen na te bootsen volgens het thema van de spelen. Elke lade voor de spelersstukken heeft één grote gleuf voor de karakter- en linktegels, evenals de houten OP- en inkomensmarkeringen. Elk type industrietegels heeft zijn eigen vakje, waardoor ze aan het begin van het spel kunnen worden georganiseerd en snel aan de spelersborden kunnen worden toegewezen. Hier zijn twee bakken voor de locatie- en industrietegels, die ook sleuven hebben voor de ijzer- en kolenblokjes. Er is een apart bakje voor de geldfiches, met voor elke waarde een vakje. Er is ruimte voor alle kaarten in de hoes. Bij het opruimen van het spel en het inpakken van de doos wordt het spelregelboek bovenop de bakjes gelegd. Bovenop deze plaats het hoofdspelbord, gevolgd door de spelersborden. Hierdoor wordt de doos tot aan de bovenkant gevuld en is verticale opslag van het spel mogelijk. Dezelfde aanpak wordt gebruikt voor de Deluxe- en Retail-versies. De Brass Lancashire®-doos is op een vergelijkbare manier verpakt, maar hier plaatsen we de kaartspeltegel naast de spelersborden. Vanwege de dikkere spelersborden in de Deluxe-versies van beide spellen, is er een zeer kleine hoeveelheid deksellift wanneer de doos is verpakt van ongeveer 3 mm. Dit product bestaat uit een flat-pack van 4 Evacore-platen. De bakjes moeten in elkaar worden gezet, wat snel en leuk is, met gewone PVA-lijm. Gedetailleerde instructies zijn inbegrepen in het pakket.

All the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays. There is one tray for the player reference cards and other components which has two build variants, one for each version of the game. More on this below. s mentioned above, the insert works equally well with the Deluxe and Retail versions of either game. The images below are of the Deluxe Brass: Birmingham. Here the game component trays are arranged in two layers. The insert provides two trays to hold the iron clay box in place. Note the coin token tray is inverted here as it is not needed. The filler trays for the iron clay box have been designed to imitate factory buildings as per the theme of the games. Each tray for the player pieces has one large slot for the character and link tiles, as well as the wooden VP & income markers. Each type of industry tiles has it’s own slot, allowing them to be organised and quickly allocated to the player boards at the start of the game. here are two trays for the location & industry tiles, which also have slots for the iron & coal cubes. There is a separate tray for the money tokens, with a slot for each denomination. There is space for all cards to be sleeved. When clearing the game away and packing the box, the rule book is placed on top of the trays. On top of this place the main game board, followed by the player boards. This fills the box to the top and allows for vertical storage of the game. This same approach is used for the Deluxe and Retail versions. The Brass Lancashire® box is packed in a similar way, but here we place the deck tile adjacent to the player boards.Due to the thicker player boards included in the Deluxe versions of both games, there is a very small amount of lid lift when the box is packed of approximately 3 mm. This product consists of a flat-pack of 4 Evacore sheets. The trays require assembly, which is quick and fun, using ordinary PVA glue. Detailed instructions are included in the package.
