Opmerking: inzet ontworpen voor games met externe doosafmetingen van 22,4 x 31,1 x 5,0 cm. Inzetstuk compatibel met Clans of Caledonia®. Het ontwerp biedt zowel efficiënte opslag als verbeterde gameplay. Veel van de bakken kunnen tijdens het spel worden gebruikt en ze helpen enorm bij het opzetten en opruimen. De regels en borden fungeren als deksel bovenop de bakjes.
Het herziene ontwerp werkt nu met zowel de originele editie als de herziene editie van het spel, met ruimte voor het spelersbord van beide groottes. Als de bovenste laag verwijderd is, zie je de tweede laag met trays eronder. Elke clan heeft zijn eigen dienblad voor zijn gekleurde componenten. Elke speler neemt aan het begin van het spel een dienblad met de door hem gekozen kleur clanstukken. De goederenfiches hebben elk aparte vakjes, zodat je er tijdens het spel gemakkelijk bij kunt. Er is één lange bak voor de exportcontracten. Er zijn twee bakken voor de munten, een bak voor de clantegels en een bak voor de havenbonustegels, scoretegels en andere speelstukken. De muntenbakjes werken even goed met de kaartmunten uit het basisspel als met de alternatieve metalen munten. Zoals hierboven vermeld, kunnen veel van de laden tijdens het spel worden gebruikt om de componenten te ordenen en de toegang voor alle spelers gemakkelijk te maken. De spelborden moeten in de onderstaande volgorde in de doos worden geplaatst. Plaats eerst de spelersborden in een uitsparing aan de rechterkant van de inzet. Ga dan naar de regels, gevolgd door de markt- en exportborden. De kaartborden en de MacDonald-tegel gaan als laatste, met de spelershulpmiddelen en het scoreblad ernaast. Hierdoor wordt de doos tot aan de bovenkant gevuld en met de deksel gelijk gesloten kan de doos verticaal worden opgeborgen. Het inzetontwerp werkt ook met de originele editie van het spel, waarbij de spelersborden smaller zijn en slechts 10 cm breed. Bij gebruik bij deze editie wordt de lange exportcontracttray anders in elkaar gezet en andersom in de doos geplaatst, zoals hieronder weergegeven. Hierdoor blijft er een smallere uitsparing over voor de kleinere spelersborden. De twee alternatieve manieren om de exportcontracttray samen te stellen ziet u hier. De bovenste lade in de afbeelding is voor de oudere editie van het spel en de onderste is voor de huidige editie. Dit product bestaat uit een flat-pack van 3 Evacore-platen. De trays moeten in elkaar worden gezet, wat snel en leuk is, met gewone PVA-lijm. Gedetailleerde instructies zijn inbegrepen in het pakket.

Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.
The revised design now works with both the original edition and revised edition of the game, with space for either sized player board. With the top layer removed you can see the second layer of trays underneath. Each clan has it’s own tray for its coloured components. Each player will take a tray with his chosen colour of clan pieces at the start of the game. The goods tokens each have separate slots to give easy access during the game.There is one long tray for the export contracts. There are two trays for the coins, a tray for the clan tiles, and a tray for the port bonus tiles, scoring tiles, and other game pieces. The coin trays work equally well with either the card coins from the base game or the alternative metal coins. As mentioned above many of the trays can be used during the game to organise the components and make access by all players easy. The game boards need to be placed in the box in the following sequence. First go the player boards in a recess on the right hand side of the insert. Then go the rules, followed by the market and export boards. The map boards and MacDonald tile go last, with the player aids and score sheet next to them. this fills the box to the top, and with the lid closed flush the box can be stored vertically. The insert design also works with the original edition of the game, where the player boards are narrower being only 10 cm wide. When used with this edition the long export contract tray is assembled differently and is placed the other way round in the box as shown below. This leaves a narrower recess for the smaller player boards. The two alternative methods of assembling the export contract tray can be seen here. The top tray in the image is for the older edition of the game, and the lower one is for the current edition. This product consists of a flat-pack of 3 Evacore sheets. The trays require assembly, which is quick and fun, using ordinary PVA glue. Detailed instructions are included in the package.
